APPLE - LATE DESSERT 'D'ARCY SPICE'

£ 14.95

Description

Subtle spicy 'nutmeg' flavours.

Grows well in coastal areas and copes well in windy or exposed conditions - it has few pest or disease problems.

Originated in the garden of the Hall at Tolleshunt D'Arcy, Essex in 1785.

A very late dessert apple, traditionally picked at Guy Fawkes - 5th November - and stored until ready to eat from January to April.

Those who like 'Russets' in general will enjoy the texture of D'Arcy Spice.
