• Scab – affects fruit and leaves. Best control is to rake up ALL fallen leaves in autumn and burn them, or green-bin them.

• Canker – corky, dead and dying patches on branches and twigs. Prune these out and burn or green-bin. Keep secateurs cleaned between trees to avoid spread.
